It goes into much more detail as to why I love this lock. Please note that I had not traveled prior to shooting this video. But I have sine then.I did some traveling over the holidays to visit family. With all the madness and chaos at the airports, I wanted to have the confidence that only TSA had access to my bag. And although they didn't need to inspect my bag this time, I have the confidence that everything is secured. The quality of construction and the ease of use of this lock is awesome. And changing the default code was super easy as well. I actually show you in the video. I also purchased Alpine Rivers' UltraFlex lock as well for my bigger bag. You can check out that video review I left if you'd like. I needed this lock for my smaller bag. I am very pleased with their locks and would recommend them to anyone who travels or who even needs a good quality lock for the gym or even if your work has lockers. Great buy and great value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great lock with TSA open bag alert *by J***E on April 24, 2017* These locks are great and very nice looking for a lock. They are perfect for luggage and feel very study. I like that it has the pop up button to show whether or not TSA has opened my luggage or not. We just got back from a trip and these worked perfectly. The only thing I would improve upon would be to make the numbers a separate color on the dial. Most people would not have this issue, but I wear readers to see tiny things up close and the numbers are just engraved on the silver metal on the dial and can be a little bit hard to see if you are in a dimly lit place or need readers to see up close. If you don't have trouble with things like that then this won't be an issue at all. Overall, I love them and recommend.I hope this review helps. If so, please click "yes" below. Thanks! ### ⭐⭐ Heavy duty for tiny size. First, instructions are ... *by C***S on May 27, 2018* Heavy duty for tiny size. First, instructions are extremely tiny. Needed magnifying glass to read and understand steps. My luggage was inspected. The little red button was popped up. But one of the locks was missing. However, when I opened my luggage, I found the lock inside. It had malfunctioned and TSA was unable to relock it. Myself, and several others were unable to re-set or lock it, making it worthless. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/182037278-ultratuff-tsa-approved-lock-red-open-alert-indicator-for-luggage](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/182037278-ultratuff-tsa-approved-lock-red-open-alert-indicator-for-luggage) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
