I work as a construction foreman, so, obviously, quality and durability are vital. I work postframe construction, so it isn't super complicated, but, if you know anything about the business, it's insanely fast paced. Jobsites are always dirty and it's just hard on tools. These levels are incredibly strong, stupidly accurate, and just a worthwhile investment. Almost every other level I've purchased has been broken or rendered unusable within 6 months tops. I have had a 4' version of this for over 2 years and it's just as good as when I got it. Finally adding a 6' level to help with taller walls. If you're an occasional DIYer, a level from Home Depot would probably do you great. That's what I use around my own house.
