They are great quality sponges that are fairly firm to the touch, have small consistently sized holes, and are relatively soft. They do a great job of absorbing a decent amount of paint to blend onto skin without sucking it in to the other end of the sponge. So far the sponges have helped use paint more efficiently so there's less waste, which is also great. They're easy to clean and sanitize so I'll be able to re-use them several more times. I'll definitely be buying more of these in the future!

I like to cut them in half, because it’s not only easier to work with, it keeps me from going through so many sponges. I also feel that they are a little pricey. They do do the job nicely!

These are the best high density sponges I have been able to find. They are great quality sponges that are fairly firm to the touch, have small consistently sized holes, and are relatively soft. They do a great job of absorbing a decent amount of paint to blend onto skin without sucking it in to the other end of the sponge. So far the sponges have helped use paint more efficiently so there's less waste, which is also great. They're easy to clean and sanitize so I'll be able to re-use them several more times. I used it for face painting. It was very nice to work with, but it’s not easy to clean. I had to get a new sponge about every 3 to 4 kids. These worked well with out facial paints and evenly distributed color. The only complaint I have is that they are big and to get into smaller facial areas I had to press and twist down. I am not sure if they sell a smaller set, but these could be easily trimmed down for that purpose. Over all I am satisfied and would purchase again!
