It has a very nice metallic shine to it. I had used a different metallic gold paint to paint some gold accents on a table and the results were ok. When I purchased this paint for another project I decided to redo the gold on the table and I absolutely love how it turned out! It looks like real gold leaf and when light hits those accents it has a wonderful metallic shine.The paint needs to be shaken up or stirred quite frequently during use as the metallic particles settle within minutes, so that's a bit tedious. But it's well worth the end results.
