The previous red dot was a cheaply made $20 unit but it worked OK until the glass popped out on a super hot day this past July. I liked this one because a friend of mine has it on her rifle - but my hubby was mad at me because he had this last year and hated it (it did quit on him).Well.... my red dot was DOA! No light, no laser, nothing. Without saying a thing to him, I just returned it. Then, I found a better one for $60 - Riteon! And it IS right on!
