I checked the picture over and over again just to make sure I was seeing it correctly. There IS a platform in the picture that does not come with the hanger. That's the reason I purchased this, and it's not there, it's a complete misrepresentation. It's really thick, rough and ugly. You sure wouldn't want this in your house: porch maybe... I would have sent it back but for the postage. I threw it out.
