I did belt sand the black (plastic) back support to make it perpendicular to the table base. I also made a wood base (larger than the drill press table) to enlarge working/clamping options. The motor and turning have been fine. The problem is the wimpy tooling design that positioned and held the piece. The holding was so flimsy that I reverted to higher precision joint making.But, the smaller, quicker 5/8"-1/4" mortise joint is often the best choice. Larger joints have always been cut on a table saw mortise & tenon jig.I like this jig because it provides a higher degree of precision and expanded degrees of freedom on a radial drill press.Yes, setup is the whole shebang producing a quality mortise and joint. However, the setup is straightforward after the first installation. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Instructions are useless *by B***. on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 23, 2021* The device was delivered as advertised. My issue is with the assembly and installation instructions, they are very poorly written in broken English with one pen and ink drawing makes the instructions almost useless.
