I love that the material on the hands and feet flip over so I don't have to mess with boots or mittens. You can also roll them back if you need their hands or feet free. This suit makes my baby a perfect little marshmallow. He can't sit up, crawl, or walk when wearing it, but that's to be expected with a snow suit. It keeps him toasty warm and dry which is the whole point. My son just turned one. He wears 12 month clothes and is 20 pounds and 30 inches. Because so many of the other reviews noted that this runs small I ordered the 24month size. It is quite large on him. I think an 18month size would have fit him fine and still left plenty of room to grow through the winter. However, it didn't seem worth returning it so I kept the larger size. I paired it with N'Ice Wrap Around Hat and basically only his eyes are left uncovered when we go outside. I looked everywhere to find a snow suit like this, and I couldn't find anything larger than 9months in the stores. But it's just the beginning of winter and my 7 month old daughter is too tall for it (12-month size). What the heck?! I think we can get a few months use out of it if we let her feet poke out the bottom, but what the use of that? I need to keep her feet warm. For reference, she is about 29-30 inches tall.Otherwise, this is really cute, good quality, fleece lines all throughout except the arms, but those have a nice satin-like lining. He turned 3 months on the trip, so it was big on him, but we just safety pinned the front zipper flap down to his chin level and it worked great! Kept him warm through all our explorations on the rainy island, he even slept in it every night as we were camping. Not waterproof, he got soggy on the hood and arms at a waterfall or when it was drizzling, but otherwise no issues. Looking forward to using it this winter when it fits him even better. SO great for the price, the ones I was looking at were around $100 at REI and Columbia. I was gifted a 6 month old down bunting of this same style from REI and this seemed much better bc of the super cozy fleece lining, which helped absorb his baby slobber that the slipper down REI one would not.
