Fold it behind, or in front. I have no problem with that same set up. **Q: Will this fit fluke 289** A: not sure. but it fits my fluke 117. also fits the fluke 115 and 116. **Q: Will this fit my fluke 73 series ii multi meter?** A: I use the case for a model 117 typically. A 179 also fits but slightly snug as it is a little wider. A 73 is slightly longer but narrower and slimmer than a 117, so should fit Ok. **Q: Will it fit a fluke 23?** A: I would guess no.
