It gives my hair some moisture and protection from my hot air brush without weighing it down. Also adds some body, control, and shine. Most days my hair looks great with just this and a little Rusk W8less Shaping and Control Hairspray, which I use both as a styling spray and a finishing spray - not overly styled, but shiny and full of body, with nice movement. Also works well when I just let my hair air dry, so that it doesn't look quite so much like I didn't bother to style my hair. Haven't had any problems with build up. One bottle lasts several months, it doesn't take much.
