I was very happy with the shoes, the color is a much nicer brown than the photo (it's a nubuck suede and lighter in person, more like a natural suede color). The adjustable straps at the toe, top and back of the shoe are great to fit your particular foot especially if your feet swell in the heat or if you need a little extra room on one foot. I feel no irritation from the small metal piece at the sling back strap. I ordered this shoe in a 9.5, it ran small on me so I had to return them. I ended up purchasing a size ten from my local Foot Solutions retail store because of the time involved in returning to the seller and the reship/refund process. I didn't want to wait for another pair to be shipped (I was told 7-10 days after the return was received for reship and up to 3 weeks for just the refund. Cheesed me just a little and since I wanted my shoes sooner than that I decided to go retail. My experience in going to the store benefitted me because the salesman was able to remove the insole and customize it with cork and leather pads so it would match my custom podiatric RX orthotic inserts (the color of my own inserts are a light pinkish beige and didn't look good in the shoe). So I imagine you could buy on line then take to a orthotics store and have them customized or use your own custom/ortho inserts. I also purchased the shoe in the demim/blue color which is very nice indeed. I went up a half size to 10 and they fit great. I would recommend these sandals to anyone if you need orthotic friendly or not. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to reship/refund time line was too long a timeframe. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfort and good arch support *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2016* They are much cuter on than it seems in the picture.But very comfortable and gives good support for that all day walking and tramping all over town.The shoe runs a bit narrow but for me it is ok because B width are too wide and my feet are more than the narrow they use to be.For a person needing the wider B, go one size wider.Great support in the arch. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfy *by M***A on Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2016* With stockings I can wear them all day, without stockings the inside of the velcro wraps rub after a few hours. I normally wear compression stockings so this isn't a problem very often, but sometimes would like to cool my toes.
