The Wifi signal is greatly enhanced but found that it was clashing with my existing Network (even at low signal it would grab the extender rather than my much stronger signal from the BT Homehub). I have now switched it off and would consider using it again if we ever get back to having people round for BBQ's.One other niggle is the earth plug seems to be large and sticks into the socket. I have had to prize the plug plate (which detached from the main unit) out with a screwdriver, it was that tight in!. Clips back together, but wonder how long before this breaks.In short, I would suggest using this when you need it and switching it off when you don't. Comparing the pins on the plug to a standard UK plug the pins were not quite the correct length. Could this defect be dangerous?
