Dont want it to fall off when you least expect it. Magnetic latch seems pretty good. At first I was sceptical, but seems to hold OK. Not sure on the durability yet as I have only had it a little over a minth. Use it every day. I didn't see any pictures showing the extra card Flap - Holder - thing? It closes up before the holster closure Flap on top does. This is one reason the holster Barley Fits the LG V20. That extra Flap Thing makes it really hard to close.
