The material used is of a thin material almost like parachute material. It easily folds up into itself for light packing. Very lightweight and the bag can clip onto any bag you have. Its a good size maybe can seat 3 or 4 people comfortably. Has stash pockets inside and comes with pegs and sand pockets so it doesn't get blown away by the wind. Cause remember it is of parachute material. lol Dry sand will fall off of it easily so if you do get this material damp you may take some sand home all you have to do is spread it out let the dampness dry and swoosh the mat a couple times and its all gone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Compact! It's soooo light that I even leave it inside my drawstring backpack while biking with kids to the park. So we can use it anytime/anywhere, no need to plan ahead. PROs - I am surprise how BIG this blanket is! I also especially enjoy its HUGE compression sack. It's effortless to put blanket in no time. 6 stacks quality r decent and come with a very solid and thick bag, so you won't accidently hurt yourself or the bag would tear easily. CONs - It's such a mess to use this on the beach. Sands is everywhere! Literally, it's uncontrollable! My 1st kid joins me - sands everywhere no matter how careful she is. So I unanchore 2 stacks, dust the sands out. Next, my 2nd kid joins me - sands everywhere! I repeat the same process over and over as everytime they come join me on this blanket. This is really no suitable for beach use! HOWEVER, I do see it's PERFECT for PARKS due to its size and ease to put back to compression sack. I wash it before I use, and it seems holding well as color seems the same and no thread comes off. After using it on the beach, I do feel "wetness" before I put it back to sack. But when I arrive home and ready to hang dry it on the balcony, like 5 min walk, I do notice it does not seem wet at all. Surprise! This type of blanket, polyester, is more ideal to use at parks. Beach - nah!
