Review: Very handy for what it does - Well made and very handy to use, as it saves a lot of hand and finger twisting if you do more than a few wiring jobs. Could also work for 'I have one and you don't' among friends.... Especially made for wire nuts with wings on the sides, as they fit into the slots well, but the wire nuts without wings are prone to slip inside the tool. If I can figure out a way to make the inside of the tool less slippery so the regular wire nuts don't slip it should be a lot more useful. Maybe a very thin coat of tool handle spray coating that looks like vinyl? We shall see. RM

Well made and very handy to use, as it saves a lot of hand and finger twisting if you do more than a few wiring jobs. Could also work for 'I have one and you don't' among friends.... Especially made for wire nuts with wings on the sides, as they fit into the slots well, but the wire nuts without wings are prone to slip inside the tool. If I can figure out a way to make the inside of the tool less slippery so the regular wire nuts don't slip it should be a lot more useful. Maybe a very thin coat of tool handle spray coating that looks like vinyl? We shall see. RM

This thing works excellent the only thing you have to watch out is when using nuts that do not have the wings on them if it's not fully pushed in and you go a little trigger-happy it will spin the inside of this out. But I have successfully used it on everything from an orange all the way up to a blue with and without the little wings on them. the electrician's that I work with have never even seen one of these and every last one of them has bought one after using mine. I do recommend for the cost buy 2 because one of them will eventually get worn out when you're in the middle of a job.
