More like 300 watts if even. But, the speaker seems sturdy and heavy duty. Bass? Meh well, not the bass I was expecting, though, I wasn't expecting Bose or JBL bass but still, it could've had more bottom end to the bass. I assume I would need to pair it up with another speaker. Actually I bought this one for vocals and to hear my Bluetooth a bit louder for a party. Haven't tested it yet in a live scenario but I am sure it will be fine.
