You do sink some, and the pillow ends aren't super big, so your hair will get wet if you're laying down. The netting "hammock" part isn't really wide so if you're a bigger person, it's a bit wobbly to get on and doesn't feel as supportive. You can sit on it or lay down. I feel like the price is a bit too high. But its a decent float and works well. I enjoy it, but I don't think I'd get it again at that price point. ### ⭐⭐⭐ very hard to blow up *by P***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2021* I have another one like this (not same brand) and needed a 2nd one for vacation. This one is very hard to blow up as the valve sticks in quite a bit so hard to get air into. The air cushions don't stay fully inflated so you have to blow more into them every time you use. I thought I just didn't close good enough but double checked the 2nd time. They don't totally deflate - just enough to be too soft to use. My other one will hold air for a long time and so much easier to inflate. This worked but wasn't easy to use and I just left it at the Airbnb we rented instead of bothering to bring home.
