The pillow is not a slow rebound type of memory foam (most on the market are). It pops back into shape like instantly. They seem to use a different technology that I haven't seen in this pillow market. When it says "soft" they mean it! It's truly soft. No exaggeration. It helps prevent ear/face pain. It's very squishy, flexible, and jelly-like so it does flatten more than others but still supportive to me. This works excellent on wedge pillows. To use this directly on the bed I think will be too flat for the majority of the people unless you are a stomach sleeper (or have a short neck). I love the side bumps. It helps cradle the head and keep my chin up when I sleep to the side. The pillow cover is great quality. It's thick and soft. Amazon Vine gave me the opportunity to try Coolux’s toddler sized pillow. That is how I discovered the brand. I bought this adult size for my mother. I didn't love it at first until I transitioned to a wedge pillow then I fell in love with it. The combo of the two works so well. Well, sadly, it is not a true (high density) memory foam. It is super bouncy (as in will spring back to its original shape the second you move and will not feel like you are cradled by soft memory foam) and not at all what I wanted from a pillow that is advertised as a memory foam pillow.If you are looking for a super bouncy/bounce back into shape in a nano second foam pillow, this pillow is it.
