Review: Subtle but nice - It is maybe not going to go very far if you want a lot of pineapple flavored icing, it is a nice flavor that is distinctly pineapple on a mellow level without a sour acid punch you'd get from something like citric-acid. I'm happy, I did end up pairing it with another product, which in a way I wish I hadn't.

**Q: is this a staight substitute for the vanilla extract you get in the tiny 35ml bottles from the supermarket? eg, is 1tsp enough for a vanilla sponge**
A: No..it is not as strong the extract from the tiny 35ml bottles. I have found you need to double up the quantity of 1tsp to 2tsp.

**Q: What is the ingredients list?**
A: Water,Propylene Glycol,Natural Identical Vanilla Flavouring,Colour: Plain Caramel

**Q: What % vanillia is it?**
A: It does not say the percentage of vanilla on the bottle. I have used it for years and it is very good if you don't want to use alcohol based essence. I just use 2 tablespoons for a 10-12" cake batter and it has worked for me

**Q: Does this essence contain oil ?**
A: No, it is not oil based essences

It is maybe not going to go very far if you want a lot of pineapple flavored icing, it is a nice flavor that is distinctly pineapple on a mellow level without a sour acid punch you'd get from something like citric-acid. I'm happy, I did end up pairing it with another product, which in a way I wish I hadn't.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Good pineapple flavour, but have to use a lot

I bought this flavouring to make pina colada coconut ice, so this was for the pineapple side of the coconut ice. The flavour is good however I had to use almost half the bottle to get a strong enough flavour to taste so I feel it could be more concentrated for a stronger flavour, this is in comparison to other flavourings I have used from different brands which only a few drops is needed. So yes the flavour is good however it could be stronger, price wasn’t too expensive however I will probably only get one more use out of it due the amount needed for the flavour.
