It is a fictional story but prophetic since Roe v. Wade is overtuned and a woman in Alabama is convicted of murder in the picture. The Pro-Life and Pro-Choice are well enunciated ,even though those two rights are not equal. The right to life is in U.S. Constitution and the Catholic Church holds that it is of the preeminent moral value. The Pro-Choice argument is weak when the convicted person claims to have aborted because it was her choice at that time; she was against abortion and wanted at a later date to have children when it was convenient. Life is not a matter of time or convenience. This film is prophetic because in was shown on TV April 1999. Next March 2022 the SCOTUS will hand a verdict on the Miss. 15-week abortion ban and Roe v.
