Joseph: Trusting in God's Sovereignty and Goodness (The Bible Teacher's Guide) Paperback – February 4, 2020

Pastor does a fantastic job, bringing the story of Joseph to the family perspective. Lining the path through Joseph to a growing maturing family in Christ was great. Men, we are called to be leaders, and the pastors of our families, this is a great read, to understand the path of growth in faith. It is a comprehensive story about a family that starts with a lot of dysfunction, to the point that brothers would desire to kill another brother. It takes the immaturity of a faithful follower, shows some of the mistakes of a tremendous follower of God, with what could possibly be a lack of humility dealing with his dreams, and takes him through some very turbulent times, grows his faith, so that he becomes a great leader of a nation, and yet has learned the humility to give the glory to God. In that humility he learned to forgive.Tremendous story and learning, Thank you Pastor

Joseph: Trusting in God's Sovereignty and Goodness is an informative and enjoyable read. This is the 2nd book I have read in The Bible Teacher's Guide Book study series. It is easy to read and understand with several Scripture references to illustrate points. I used it as part of my daily devotion time. I look forward to reading more by this author.

Very easy read and very engaging to me, do I recommend ABSOLUTELY!

I have personally gone through the studies with the pastor, and the strong content material has been a great launching point for discussion with our adult Bible Study and Discussion group. A group resource for discipleship training and provoking deeper thinking about Scriptures.

Good in depth practical Bible study on the life of Joseph from beginning to end. I love how the author includes the Scripture passages right in the book, along with commentary, key points in outline form and application questions. Very easy to follow and so applicable to life.For example in this study on Joseph, the following key topics are reviewed and discussed-what it looks like to be in Gods will-guidelines for protecting our families-conquering temptation-preparing future leaders-properly handling success and prosperity-bringing us to repentance-ways God changes our hearts-pursuing reconciliation-discerning Gods will-living as pilgrims-blessing our children-facing death properly

I've been in ministry for over 15 years and it's difficult to find good resources that help teachers take their students deeper into the Scriptures. I was so impressed by this book and Pastor Greg's exhaustive study and commentary on the life of Joseph. It's a very easy, straightforward read. I love how each study is broken down. Honestly, even if you're not teaching a bible class with this, but just want to grow in your understanding of God's word, this is a great resource for that too. I would say more, but honestly, just do yourself a favor and pick up a copy! :) I look forward to more great resources like this from Pastor Greg!

I went through this book in a small group Bible study setting and I would highly recommend it for any small group usage. Pastor Greg has a unique ability and gifting to be able to deeply probe into the text and pull out extremely deep, meaningful information. The questions are thought provoking and promote deep reflection and valuable conversations.

The format of this book is easy to follow. It includes questions to reflect on after each section as well as discussion points. The content is biblical and provides supporting scripture reference for further study. Great insight and relates well to every day life! The diligence and excellence of this author are demonstrated in this book.
