We have a neighbor on one side that always gets in the way of dogs getting to know eachother with the usual bark-at-eachother-through-the-fence hellos. She whips them all up in to a frenzy by trying to get them to stop and even has a WHISTLE. Closet gym teacher I guess. So, instead of our suggestion that they have a playdate and meet, her suggestion is to for us to build a second fence. So, since I can't think of anything super obnoxious to put up as a fence I tried this. Let me tell you, I was very skeptical. I have two Goldens that are 130 lbs each and a new rescue that is Border Collie/Australian Shepherd who is a little skittish. The Goldens are fine, but the new baby is easily excited. When he and the dog across the fence start barking and the neighbor is in the mix he will even bite the fence. This QUIT IT stops them in their tracks. It is amazing. Just try it. And if anyone has any suggestions for a horribly obnoxious SECOND fence, please let me know. I mean, doesn't everyone need a fence in front of their privacy fence? This is characteristic to their breed. They are six years old so I thought this was a hopeless situation. Quit it was recommended to me. I was told to first spray it in the air and not to overuse it. Just give it a quick squirt which startled them. If this didn't work, aim for the rear end. Well, I didn't have to go that far. It startled them at first squirt. Whether they are outside barking at other critters, people or trucks, they stop and come to the door. Inside, if they bark, they stop at one squirt. I am thrilled to have learned of this product that shapes behavior by just a mere hearing of the sound.
