Yes it focus is volatility and quant methods, yes its aimed at professionals and traders; but even if you dont understand half of the book there is more valuable information in the other 50% then most books i have read on this game of ours. This book will certainly improve your process whether Investor or trader. Indeed on my first read a lot of the math went way over my head due to not having the appropriate skills. Despite this, as an investor I was still able to find so much actionable information that I found in almost every sentence. As an aside, to some of the other reviewers, a great investment idea could perhaps be to do the extra 1-2 years learning the math and accompanying finance theory to really get the most out of this book (and possibly investing/trading too). This is an investment book that puts other investment books to shame.
