One was broken and tied back together, they were way too long for the number of eyelets, thinking about it now, it was really very punk rock. But I thought it was time to replace those clunky, worn out things. The Doc Marten hot pink laces are most excellent. They've got a good feel to them, they slide easily thorugh the eyelets and tie nice and securely. They're the perfect length for my 8 hole boots. I did not lace them all the way to the top hole, but stopped one down and I'm very pleased with the fit. The color is nice and bright, standing out briliantly against the black leather. I'm very pleased with the quality, the style, and the price. One day when these wear out, I'll buy the same again.
