My grandson is 12 years old 5'4" and 100 pounds.  He loves these trunks in size 14.  He's worn them at the beach and in the pool.  They will be well used until he outgrows them.

Fits for now but, not a true size 8. They are well made.My grandson loves them and I figure he would outgrow them by next summer.Keeping this pair but, I encourage you to order a size up.
