## Description

What are Millton PM2.5 filters made of? The Millton PM2.5 filter consists of five layers of activated carbon filter and different kinds of fabric: *Layers 1 and 5: Spun-bound non woven material that filters out larger particles *Layer 3 (middle): activated carbon layer. Traps particulate matter via an adhesion process. *Layers 2 and 4: high-efficiency melt-blown filtering material that can filter small substances. How is a PM2.5 filter used ? It is really simple to use this filter. What side of PM2.5 Filter faces out? It does not matter which side of the PM2.5 faces out. The filter is constructed in a symmetrical manner such that regardless of which side faces out, you are always having the same two layers of fabric on either side of the middle carbon-activated layer (see pictures above). However, keep in mind that once used, it is recommended that you always have the same side facing out if you are going to use it multiple times.

Review: Very durable - Great carbon filter
Review: Package in Groups of 5 - Best I've found - No Odor - What I like is the the pack of 50 filters come pre-packed in groupings of 5 perforated filters in a sealed clear package inside the larger package of 50. It seems cleaner that other brands that are stuffed into a larger bag that are not wrapped in smaller groupings. Also - I can tuck one packet of 5 in my purse, for when I need to swap in a new one. I'm usually wearing these for an hour or so at a time, so I don't replace them daily. I wear these inside the Tommy Copper Community Masks (the specific name) with filter pocket. No odor, I am very sensitive to smells and I don't notice any odor from these. Also the manufacturer says, they are the same outer layer on both sides so, as long as you are consistent - it doesn't mater which side you wear facing outward. only minor quibble is I wish the corners were rounded, I occasionally notice the corner against my face.

Quality filters with embossed PM 2.5 not stamped on as with those not well made. Medium thickness that offers another layer of protection when wearing a mask with a filter insert. Double wrapped when delivered. Pleased with this purchase.
