I was told it was only used a handful of times and I have no reason to doubt the seller as they seemed like honest people. Mechanically there were no problems, electronics worked fine. The problem is the loud creaking/squeaking sound that I get when using it. It seems to come from the spot where the fixed-in-place handles on the shaft of the machine are welded to the shaft. I took the thing halfway apart to try and figure out where it was coming from. I must say it's quite annoying. I weigh 265, and it is supposed to be rated to over 330 lbs. Maybe if you were a lighter person, this would not occur. I only paid $260 for it, and I noticed it when I first looked at it, but decided to buy anyway. I hope that using an mp3 player and earbuds will drown it out enough so I can get use out of it. I am stuck with this defect, but as I bought it second hand at 1/4 the retail price ($999) I can't complain too much, and I don't have warranty coverage. If I had paid full price I would be extremely upset. Also, according to the manual, if you want to get their product repaired Yowza fitness charges your $75 to have a technician come out to your home. Good to see the company really stands by their products, lol. I would definitely not but this for more than a couple hundred bucks. And I will never but one of their products retail for sure. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not what it's cracked up to be... *by N***L on January 6, 2015* I'm rating this machine 3 stars for a couple of reasons. First, I just received it and haven't had time to really evaluate it. I will update in the near future as to it's quality and performance. Second, I was sent what appears to be an older model of the Largo. The placement of the grip pulse sensors for heart rate are not located on the moving handles, but rather on the stationary handles. Also, the resistance touch sensors located on the moving handles are non-existent. The Largo should have an included wireless polar heart rate monitor, mine does not have that option. Upon receipt, I found some deep scratches that went right through the paint to the metal. I tried to call Yowza service, hoping they would send me some touch up paint. I tried three different departments to no avail. No one picked up my call at all, so I went with my only option to leave a voice mail. I have yet to get a call back. I've attached a couple pictures so you can see what I received in comparison to what is posted for sale by Amazon.Update 1/7/15I want to add that since my review Amazon rectified the shipping problem fairly. At this time, the mechanics of elliptical seem very good. The flywheel glides extremely smooth and the monitor is not so complicated that it would take days to understand or program. The resistance transitions smoothly without any hangups, and last, but not least, it doesn't wobble. I wouldn't recommend this machine for a tall person as it has just an 18 inch stride length. Also, I still haven't heard back from Yowza service. No surprise here! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Product *by N***N on September 13, 2013* I bought this for $799 including free shipping from the Yowza website. I wanted to buy Norditrack. I have a Norditrack treadmill for 11 years and it requires occasional repairs but works fine. I found good reviews for the high end elliptical trainers made by Yowza. As my budget is <$1,000, I opted for their lower end model. I am 5'10" and weight around 168 lbs. Reading various reviews I felt that the lower end model would work OK for me.Buying Experience: I had three $100 gift cards from different sources and I wanted to use them. I did not find a way to use them on the website. So I called the customer service number and the associate took care of payments by 4 different cards in 10 min and gave me an invoice number (on a Sunday). I got an email on Monday morning that my order was fulfilled. The process was smooth. I received the product after 3 days.Shipping: Yowza offered free curbside shipping and I opted for it (hoping that the item will come in multiple packages). But it was shipped in a single package and the UPS guy obliged my wife to leave it in the walkout basement. I also read in few reviews the same. So save yourself $59 opting for curbside shipping.Assembly: Took me around 45 minutes (I did it alone). The instructions could be improved a bit. For some one who assembled furniture from IKEA this is a breeze.Performance: I am really surprised how quiet it was. This might be due to the simple design with very few moving parts. Its less than a week and we have been using it regularly without any complaint.I like the pedals (there is a special hinge and are very comfortable). I gave only 4 stars because we used it for only few days.
