After research I bought 2 refurbished Denon 150NV speakers at a significantly reduced price on desertcart. 2 cos I wanted the stereo effect. To coin a common phrase they are the, ‘dogs bollocks!’ In every way they are superb. With WiFi/Bluetooth they are easily set up via the App. They are small and compact sitting on top of the speakers I use for my decks. The app is brilliant in picking up desertcart Music via Prime and favourite radio channels from which you can create your own list. The sound is quite exceptional picking up all ranges in stereo with great clarity. The sound fills the through lounge without the need to move one of the speakers or buy a third. Need it for guests in Airbnb so simple Bluetooth connection needed only** A: Hi An app is useful for setting them up in the first place but it is possible to connect them via Bluetooth via a button on the back. Daily usage via Airplay or Bluetooth does not need the app. Firmware updates (which happen every few months or so) are done via the app. **Q: Can it charge 12v** A: This speaker is not fitted with a battery and has to be connected to the mains electrical supply (230-240v) to function, also needs to be connected via Wi Fi or Bluetooth or audio cable for signal to play. I almost, got to the point where I was going to send it back but I persevered and eventually got it working the app and the process it takes you through is pretty terrible which is a shame because once it’s working, it’s really good.
