It is pretty strong and has a good flavor and smell to it. This tea is enjoyable with or without milk. I have brewed this tea for 1-2 minutes and have found no bitter taste when I drink it with milk, and when I drink it with just hot water I put it in the hot boiling water allow it to brew a few seconds and decant, this tea releases a lovely flavor.
