Review: Lasted for 6 mths outside so far - These give a nice yellowy glow and looks great on the wood backdrop and in our tree. We had them on our tree for 6 months and everything still works. Took them down for winter.
Review: Will be buying more - Love these and planning to purchase more. We used these in a rooftop tent and the lights were a subtle touch to create a very cozy and warm ambiance. The remote didn't seem to work that well for switching between modes but it works perfect for basic on/off function. It didn't matter, the 8 different modes were all so cool and it was hard to pick just one mode. Highly recommend, great quality, and good value for the price.

**Q: Does this have an actual on/off switch in order to be controlled by a remote?**
A: Yes, but it has to be fairly close to the lights. And the required battery is VERY difficult to install. I found a helpful tip from another buyer explaining how to do that.

**Q: Can you attach to each other to extend?**
A: No.  Each set has a battery pack.

**Q: Is it 20 ft total with the 2 strings or 40 ft total with the 2 pack?**

Sorry for the late reply.

It’s 2 packs of strings, each pack is 20 ft long with their own batteries.

**Q: Can you wind together to lengthen?**
A: Yes, I suppose you could. You would have 2 battery packs instead of 1. You could do it with a small twist tie to connect the 2 ends & having a battery pack at each end. Hope this helps.

Nice and bright. Absolutly love the colors and the range of the rainbow. HOWEVER.....its awful on batteries. Brand new batteries last 2 days with the timer function. Dont even bother with rechargeable ones. Those only last 1 cycle (1 night). So...the colors are great and they're nice and bright but make sure you dont mind changing batteries 3x/week
