The directions say that the cooker will start a countdown after it reaches the right pressure point.  That doesn't happen with mine and I have to guesstimate how long to allow it to cook.  I tried pressing different buttons with no change.  It does cook well but you, not the cooker, are in charge of the cooking time.

There weren't any instructions or booklet with recipes, I had to guess how long to cook it, it wasn't long enough so I had to start all over, building steam for 15 minutes and let it cook longer, I didn't like that very well, everyone was starving by the time it finally got done.
