My experience is yes. [TO BE CLEAR: that dose not mean you are invincible with this mask]The story: I worked with somone who had symptoms for 5 days, and then tested positive for covid-19 on the 6th day. I worked with them with no social distancing followed. at times I was littereally 3 inches from face to face contact mask on (unable to follow social distancing, because of what I do for work) and they even at times had there mask off near by me at times. This mask kept me from getting it and giving it to others.How i use the mask: I change the carbon filter 1-2 times a week for my work mask. depending on how much sweating I do. sometimes i wear the same mask for the whole work week but sometimes i wear a new mask everyday depends on how much sweating I do. I'd say I use 2-3 masks for a 40 hour work week. But I reuse the filter for as long as it is safely possible. I highly recommend having a work mask and a non work mask for acne reasons and spreading germs.))((The black mask is different from the the other masks. You can see in the picture the black mask has no (silver) piece (best way to difrtienciate these masks from this brand in the future). The black mask has a plastic wire(looks like the wire that comes with bread at the super market) on the inner part that seems to be sewn in. I clean my masks frequently in wash machine in one of the 'delegates bag' or 'bra bags' and it has been fine in the wash so far for me. Clean your mask, try to not touch it!Snug fit; I like how this mask covers under my chin partially as well as my cheeks/nose. So it makes me feel more secure. Having that part covered so all the air is filtered. The silver piece that attaches to the mask, that comes with it, I no longer use. I think its a great! But this mask stays on for me without the metal piece.Comfort: I find this maks super comfortable! The fabric is soft and comfortable. I find it less comfortable without a filter, fabric pressed more against my lips is what I find uncomfortable. I saw in another person's review that the fabric was inhaling into there nose, i don't have this problem so I was thinking danm how hard are you breathing?! But my wife has the same problem as that person, so it could have to do with nose shape.Ear loop are fabrics like so feel more comfortable but still just as uncomfortable as anything mask.I purchased this mask for family memebers and recommend it to friends and co workers. The straps around the ears are adjustable making for an easily customizable for. Adjusting the ear strap completely helps create a better seal around the chin and bridge of the nose for a more comfortable fit. I appreciate the silt inside for you to insert a filter. It fits the standard size filters and hold it into place well. This masks also washes well by hand as well as in the washing machine but be warned because you may lose the adhesive nose guard however, a replacement is included. I may consider seeing it on the inside of the mask to avoid the replacement from coming off.
