## Features

- CHRIS CHRISTENSEN COMB – highly rated with a 4.8-Star average, the #000 Buttercomb is a combination Greyhound-style comb and is the Chris Christensen recommendation for everyday maintenance and styling. It is suitable for all coat types, dog or cat. It is a professional and essential grooming comb for everyone: pet owner, grooming hobbyist, show competitor, or seasoned dog or cat groomer. It measures 7.5” in length and features 0.7” medium and fine teeth.
- DESHEDDING & DETANGLING COMB – cat or dog, the combs' rounded tines reach down to the skin and gently but effectively remove undercoat, without causing harm to the skin or damage to the coat. The rounded teeth are also effective at separating the hair, helping to prevent future mats and detangling knots within the coat. Well-made and comfortable in the hand, the comb can be easily flipped to deal with a particular requirement within the coat.
- TRUSTED BY PROFESSIONALS – this professional tool is ideal for the scissor over comb technique and line combing. Use it to check work after bathing, drying, brushing, and daily maintenance. Glides through coats without creating static. Fluff furnishing and tails. It’s lightweight but solid, durable for daily salon use, and will outlast any other comb. All combs are not created equal.
- BUILT TO LAST – Chris Christensen Buttercombs are handcrafted to the finest detail. Each pin is ground with a rounded tip to reduce friction, prevent coat breakage, and provide a seamless movement through the coat. All Buttercombs have a solid brass core with a flat spine, stainless steel teeth, and are coated with a high-quality nickel chrome finish. The 7.5” Buttercomb is item #000 in the Chris Christensen catalog.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the difference between 000 and 006? Which better for English Springer spaniel?**
A: They both have the fine/coarse but the # 000 is longer, has longer teeth. I would go with the #000 for the English Springer Spaniel.

**Q: # 003 is that right?**
A: Nope, it's #006.

**Q: Which comb is better for shelties?**
A: I use this comb for my 16 lb. Havanese's face when his fur is shorter during the summer months, but use the larger one when he is longer haired. The larger comb has more spacing so it doesn't pull for larger knots and works better for longer hair. I find both of them very helpful all over! Highly recommend, don't pull as much as previous combs did.

**Q: the combs I currently use are German made and excellent quality. Where are these combs produced?**
A: I don’t know, but they were recommended by our Chow breeder friend who shows, so I know they’re excellent quality.
