I have been suffering from terrible aches and pains in my joints and my hands are especially painful. I bought this hand grip to try to alleviate those aches and pains and I have to say that since I have been using it, since I received it, the pain is subsiding by a significant amount!!! I used to use my late fathers hand grips when I was in my teens as part of my exercise routine, and I remembered that any pain I ever had in my hands was quickly dealt with when I used the hand grips. I have this one set (so great that you can adjust the grip) to the middle, around 20-25 kg and this is comfortable for me at the moment. I also hold the grip closed for 1 minute on each hand a couple of times a day and I am building my strength up slowly but very surely in both of my hands and arms. The grip itself is absolutely brilliant, although the little orange cap that covers the bolt keeps falling off but this for me is not a problem for me at all. I just keep the cap off now and it doesn't detract from the aesthetics of the grip. I have small hands and the grip is comfortable for me to use. I'm so glad that I bought it, it has literally changed the way my hands feel almost overnight and believe me, I was in so much pain. This little gadget is amazing value for money and the way it is built is absolutely sound, can't see it breaking, ever. So if like me you suffer from sore hands, just buy it, adjust it to the lowest setting and you will see the difference in your hands in no time. I thought that I just had to put up with and live with all the horrible symptoms of the menopause. This grip has given me hope and allowed me to be confident in the strength of my hands and arms again. However throughout all the multiple choices I chose this one as it was the cheapest with mostly positive reviews. I have been using this actively for 3 days, so far the product seems fine.The reason why I have not given it 5 stars is because of the other reviews on products which looked exactly the same but cost MORE. These products had some negative reviews such as "The spring broke, plastic and metal flew across the room". Reviews like that we're reported after several months of usage. As I have only had the product for 3 days I do not know the full extent. I am aware they are different products however I still do not know if this product is safe.Overall the grip is slightly hard to hold but I am adjusting. Also I do not want small pieces of metal flying into my skin or at other people.
