I'm pleased with the quality of the box and the overall structure.The only thing I wish (which I couldn't tell from the pictures or other people's reviews) is that the cushions were more like pillows. Instead, they're made of a soft material that's filled with a cotton-like material. Some of you may like that, but I really wanted actual pillows. Other than that, nice box. My boyfriend loves watches and keeps all of them in the boxes they came in so they don't get damaged. He takes them all with him when he travels in all their separate boxes, so I though this would be a great gift for him. He's an over the road truck driver, so I added a quote in heat transfer vinyl to the inside of the lid and it did ZERO damage to the velvety fabric. He absolutely loved the case when he opened his Christmas present. The quality of the wood is beautiful, the locking mechanism is strong and not at all "wiggly" or loose and the hinges seem to be very sturdy as well.
