The Crossman 1377 that I bought from Amazon is long. This case will do the job and have room for a special scope and accessories. You can read my review of that gun and see a picture of its length. The modulator unscrews of course. Upon inspection, I noticed the gap on both sides. Apparently, the egg crate sponges causes the side edges to bow up causing the gap. I doubt this is an “all-weather” case. I plan to do a custom liner to deal with that problems and I don’t plan to transport my gun out of my home. It’s just to keep it protected and all in one place. I wanted the Plano case without the Rustrictor but it’s wasn’t available. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not the greatest box. *by C***O on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 27, 2021* I picked up one of these to use for handguns. It gets a resounding "Meh" from me. The anti-rust insert takes up the entire middle of the case. And when you actually put something, like, say, a firearm, in the case, the sides don't close all the way. It will latch shut, and the guns won't fall out. But there will be a noticeable gap along both sides. This is not air-tight, waterproof, or anything like that. If it weren't more hassle that it was worth, I would return it. As it is, it will just be used as a non-secure box for going to and from the range. I am not impressed. ### ⭐ Extremely flimsy *by A***6 on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 5, 2022* Very thin plastic. It doesn’t hold its shape. I wouldn’t put anything in it unless you want it to get crushed. The latches are also very cheap and will come off or break easily.
