Could be classy or casual. They are super comfortable, stretchy, lightweight, and long enough for a tall girl like me. I wore them out all day and didn't even take them off to go to sleep that night.Negatives: The only downside to these pants is that the material is very thin and somewhat see through. You can't wear any kind of colored underwear with them, unless it's a thong. Even the black part of the material is a bit see through. If you're ok with that, then they're great. I was a bit disappointed by this at first, as the original pair of palazzo pants I bought had significantly thicker material, not transparent at all. But these aren't so bad that I won't still wear them out on a sunny day.Sizing: I'm 5'10, weigh 158, athletic build, and wear a 10-12. I got a medium in my first pair, and a large in these. Both fit, the larges are definitely more loose around the waist, butt and hips area. So just depends on what you prefer. Both fit nicely but I prefer the medium for a more relaxed fit. One pair is hemmed the other not. I purchased several pairs from other vendors with the raw hem and I cut them to my desired length (which I like) because palazzos are meant to be long and flowy. The pair that came hemmed ( medium) fits perfectly. These pants are so comfortable I wear them all the time.I can't say anything negative about them.
