I put my Cricut Air on Custom, Chipboard 0.55mm. I cut lettering 6.8 wide & 1.06 high and it worked great. It cut the lettering twice. Now I know! **Q: The Grafix website says each sheet is medium weight and natural is 0.057″ - Is this the size of this chipboard?** A: The seller has said these are 130pt in their reply. I bought this item in March from this seller, expecting "medium" thickness. These are NOT 130pt. I have no idea where the seller is getting that number. 130pt. is close to 1/8 of an inch, which is thicker than a lot of hardcover book bindings and practically plywood. What I was sold was .24 or .30 point, which is very light. It didn't say on the label, it just said "medium." It also did not list the weight. What I was sold was about the thickness of the backing of a legal notepad. I am cutting them in half and adhering them together for my project, as what I needed was closer to .50-60, a nice cardstock thickness for a board game mat or token. Somebody at American Shop must be very busy to make these oversights. **Q: How does the number of points compare to the ply number? I need 7 ply and 14 ply** A: I did a google search and found that 14 ply is equal to 48 pt thickness. So 30 pt will be a little heavier than 7 ply. That is the best I can do for you. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good quiality. *by A***R on February 15, 2026* I use these chip boards between the pages of my note books, they work great! Excellent for bookmaking *by J***N on May 14, 2025* These bookbinding boards are available in various weights, and I've used them all, from the very thick 80 pound to the thinner 20 pound. Depending on your requirements, pick the thickness and weight you need for your project. We needed this weight to make the backing for notepads, and it was perfect. ## Frequently Bought Together - Brown Kraft Chipboard – Medium Weight 30 Point (0.03 inch) Cardboard | Thick and Sturdy, Great for Arts and Crafts, Packaging, Scrapbooking, Notepad Backing | 25 Chipboard Sheets | 8.5" x 11" - Translucent Vellum Paper, Dowsabel 68LBS 8.5 x 11 inches Printable Vellums for Card Overlays, Invitations Belly Bands, Envelope, Lantern,50 Sheets - Pilot Fineliner Marker Pens, Fine Point, Red Ink, 12-Pack (11015) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/20248139-brown-kraft-chipboard-medium-weight-30-point-0-03-inch](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/20248139-brown-kraft-chipboard-medium-weight-30-point-0-03-inch) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
