My terminal corroded off, so I was able to get these on pretty easily. Although, I believe you might be able to stretch them and get them on over the terminal if you had to, but it might be tough. These are heavy duty, quality, and something I would expect from OEM. The price is fair and they look like they came from the factory. ## Features - Use for a Professional looking Battery Installation - Slides on up to 2/0 Gauge Cable Prior to Installing Battery Terminal - Includes 1 Red and 1 Black Terminal Cover - Use with Fastronix 405-003 and 405-004 for a Complete Installation ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Manufacturer | Fastronix Solutions | | Brand | Fastronix Solutions | | Item Weight | 1.58 ounces | | Package Dimensions | 6.1 x 4.5 x 1.1 inches | | Item model number | 404-100 | | Is Discontinued By Manufacturer | No | | Manufacturer Part Number | 404-100 | ## Images ![Fastronix Red and Black Top Post Style Flexible Battery Terminal Cover - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61iT6K-rUZL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Working in my fj cruiser 2007** A: Here is what I did: I slit the bottom of the caps with a sharp drywall knife. Then I taped the area where I slit it and zip tied it around the cables. They never moved. Happy with how these works. 1 year + and still AOK. **Q: are they flexable for say, jumpstarting another car ?** A: Yes! They are flexible and can easily be pulled back to charge your battery, or jump-start another car. **Q: what is overall length?** A: The cover is 3 1/4" from the end of the round, cable opening to the opposite flat side. Also, it is 1 5/8" across the shorter flat side and about 3/4" tall. **Q: does this fit 2010 jeep liberty sport 4wd** A: these covers are intended for new cables as u need to remove the ends before u can slip them over the cable , but do fit wonderfully on new top post clamps n!!!! mine i used to make new battery cables run to a second battery to power my 4500 watt power inverter now i have instant house type power available anywhere my truck can go !!(and thats a lot of places !! ) even away on the trails !! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thick *by P***Y on April 25, 2026* These work great and are well made ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heavy duty, fit like a glove, OEM quality. *by A***4 on April 28, 2026* These fit my 2002 F150 cable very well. The price is fair and they look like they came from the factory. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked with a little modification... *by G***R on December 17, 2018* I grabbed these from Amazon as a part of my battery rehab on my 1998 Ford Explorer Limited with the 302 V8. I picked this vehicle up as a fixer-upper and experienced the new battery I purchased dying pretty quickly (cheap battery). As a part of the battery rehab I replaced the cheap old lead bolt on terminals with copper lugs and brass terminals, negative & positive post protectors, and a battery hold down. Now I can be confident this area of the under the hood will be trouble free for awhile! I had to slit the ends of these to fit around the battery cables; on my vehicle both the negative and positive sides have two cables each. I slit them and then zip tied them to secure them. The ground side isn't really necessary and I don't even know why I bother installing it. But it looks nice all cleaned up. ## Frequently Bought Together - Fastronix Red and Black Top Post Style Flexible Battery Terminal Cover - Fastronix Crimpless Battery Cable End 1/2" Lug 1 and 2 Gauge 2 Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/20325185-fastronix-red-and-black-top-post-style-flexible-battery-terminal](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/20325185-fastronix-red-and-black-top-post-style-flexible-battery-terminal) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
