Review: Well made components - Wanted these for the sockets primarily, but to have the plugs is a bonus. Nicely constructed panel mount sockets, which you secure from the inside, I've been looking for ones that can be secured from the outside, which would mean that I could complete the wiring of my project without worrying about feeding any cables through the front panelling, which I often forget to do, and end up having to resolder. These were the only ones I could find, so to recap, you have to feed the leads through the panel first, then secure on the inside. The sockets themselves have an ample amount of screw thread, so can be used on panels with a thickness of about 4mn, which is rare to find.
Review: Pretty good - but not perfect - Seem well made and can't find too much to fault. The barrels are pretty short which made be an issue if using normal long barrel plugs in them. The one thing i notice is they plug together quite stiffly

Wanted these for the sockets primarily, but to have the plugs is a bonus. Nicely constructed panel mount sockets, which you secure from the inside, I've been looking for ones that can be secured from the outside, which would mean that I could complete the wiring of my project without worrying about feeding any cables through the front panelling, which I often forget to do, and end up having to resolder. These were the only ones I could find, so to recap, you have to feed the leads through the panel first, then secure on the inside. The sockets themselves have an ample amount of screw thread, so can be used on panels with a thickness of about 4mn, which is rare to find.
