They are very well made, comfortable, and functional. The bottom of each leg has a "buttonhole" for the drain spout. Buy the collection bags that have a flip mechanism (Hint: tape up the flip mechanism for extra safety). Do not wear the screw type drain valves because they may drip from over tightening and strip the plastic drain screw. You can imagine the consequences. The shorts have a built in sleeve on each leg, which means you can alternate leg placement of the bag, which I recommend. The pants support the weight of the bottom of the urine bag nicely, but when the bag is 1/3 to 1/2 full, liquid weight of the bag tugs mercilessly on your private part. Empty often. The small to medium size bags (500 ml-750ml) are sufficient, and don't even think of wearing a 1 liter bag. I gave the product a 5 but actually it deserves a 5+ if only the manufacturer had made one additional recommendation. Fortunately for all wearers of this product, the solution is sewn in. On the front, there are two "buttonholes" intended for bilateral nephrostomy tube entrances on the front of the shorts. For foley catheter folks such as myself, just use a velcro strip, the elastic leg band that they give you in the ER, a shoelace, bailing twine...anything. Thread it through the back of top slots of the urine bag, then through the buttonholes in the front, fasten, and voila! The top of the urine collection bag is now supported by the shorts. I bought one pair to try out, then quickly bought 4 more. I highly recommend this product. It is well worth the money. One potential disadvantage which is unavoidable: the length of the shorts go to the knees, like knickers, so in hot weather your thighs may get warm. Not a problem below 75 degrees. Given the alternatives of velcro strapping to the thigh, or fastening an adhesive backed plastic clamp to the inside of your thigh (tried both), the plastic collection bags against the thigh with these fastening systems make you sweat more than the Pro Bag Pant does. The material of the Uro Bag Pant does an adequate job of absorbing perspiration.
