When the Adorama listing said "like new," they weren't joking. The main box may have been previously opened, but all the contents were still as originally packaged. It was worth taking a chance for the reduced price, and I wasn't at all disappointed. The stool is what you would expect for a posing stool; functional and decently built. All in all, very pleased!
