I was using newer Dupont formula then went to Maxima and now this. Of all 3 I like this one and the Dupont. Maxima gets good reviews however I found it is too tacky when dries causing it to attract more dirt. Plus has a goldish /bronze color which I'd rather have clear. The Dupont also is good but was told the original formula was better which this Tirox stuff us supposed to compare.This stuff isn't as gooey as the Maxima. More liquid form that dries into a true wax. Not sticky at all. I can see me staying with this product a while now as long as it does its job and keeps the life of the orings on my new EK 3D Chrome Chain in good standing.When dry and it does dry quick, about half the time as the Maxima, you really can't tell it's on. There is a slight whitish residue of a typical wax when it does dry. I just take a rag and wipes right off the outside face of the chain links to really show off my chrome 3D chain. Actually gives it sort of a polished look.I look forward to see how this stuff really keeps my drive trane in good order as I put mileage on. I average 700-800m a month and do chain lube, inspect, and adjustment (as needed) every 500m but day after the first rain ride after applying this I could see that the lube was gone. Re-applied thinking it was a fluke but got some rain 2 days later and looked at it when I got home and their was zero lube on the chain after approx. 5min of rain riding...
