Junk didn’t even last 3 months. *by J***L on September 1, 2026* Gambled and lost. My uncle and I have the same 8th gen Civic, both needed their compressors replaced. After some back and forth we both agreed to take a chance on these compressors ahead of the summertime California heat. Ordered both on 6/1/2026. Both arrived quickly and looked to be in good condition. No obvious defects or red flags. Both were professionally installed at a shop on 6/5/2026. Installation was straight forward with no problems. When all was said and done both cars were blowing cold air again. No strange noises or changes in air flow coming from the vents. Last week my Civic’s compressor started blowing hot air coincidentally with outside temps reaching over 100F. Ended up taking my car back to the shop and was told it’s the compressor. $850 later my car now has working AC again. My uncles compressor is still working, for now, while mine didn’t even last 90 days.
