Once it is squeezed into position it stays under moderate tugging. I haven't given it the test of time yet but in the short run it's o.k. There might be a few pieces missing here & there but for the price, you wonder how much profit they are making ? good value but a little on the "liteweight" side. **Q: What size drill bit will we need for the screw eye pins?** A: I’ve used a 1mm bit and it works, but I prefer a 1.3mm so I don’t have to drill over a few times to make sure the ring fits properly. **Q: What size os the split jump ring?** A: it's 2 centimeters wide, 1 inch as mentioned in the description.
