My normal night consists of lying in bed for an hour or so before falling asleep, then waking up at least five times during the night (my fitness tracker once showed me waking up 20 times). When I've taken over the counter sleep aids, I go to sleep quickly and sleep for 8 hours or more, but the next morning I feel hung over and cranky all day. Total Sleep, taken about 1 hr before bedtime, does help me relax. I don't notice it putting me to sleep quickly (a higher dose of melatonin does that), but I don't wake up as often (1 or 2 times) and I am able to get up in the a.m. refreshed. I would have to say that it is effective and does what it promises. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Only So So For Me *by H***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2016* I only took one pill a few times. Felt somewhat groggy the next day. I needed something that would let me get back to sleep (as I wake up so frequently during the night) and make me feel refreshed the next morning. That didn't happen, but as I stated I only took one pill for several nights in a row.
