The dcc uncoupling system may be useless treasure for this coupler. Because the uncoupling pin made from round bar,so the pin rotate inside the coupler. I recommend the microtrains-one,or kato's magnetic for your purpose.They have square pin,not rotate. **Q: I have an older set of n scale cars with rapido style couplers, but my new bachman locomotive has the new/smaller style. would these work? Replace?** A: I had bought this type coupler few years ago, but I don't recommend this tyle for replacing rapido . The "whisker" was too rigid to swing.
