The manufacture has been great on communication and it arrived safely on time. I disagree with the previous criticism about the size. From what I understand, betas live in muddy puddles in the wild. This tank is like a mansion to my beta's previous home. For his first two years he lived in the plastic cup he was purchased in (we inherited from my daughter's friend). He likes to swim along the bottom and when he sees me and wants to be fed he'll swim to the top. I bought a beautiful silk plant and he loves to sleep on the leaves. We haven't tested the cleaning mechanism yet because the water hasn't been too dirty (a good thing). I will need to purchase a small brush to clean the insides of the glass since I keep the tank near a window. I'm not a fish psychiatrist like the last guy, but my fish seems happy, far from depressed! Bonus, it looks gorgeous in my kitchen!
