This product came in a close second for water quality, but it was a much better value than the first place option. I saw a few reviews mentioning leaks, so I purchased some Teflon tape and Tru Blu pipe thread sealant for the installation. I had absolutely no leakage, and the water flow and pressure were not affected at all. The fit was perfect, and it does not take up too much room or make the shower head sit too low like some other products. I also ordered an On The Go water softener to soften the water after filtering. This setup has worked great, and I can definitely see the difference in water quality. Keep in mind that these filters do not soften water on their own. None of them do. A portable RV water softener is the best option if you want soft water.
