What they show is stiff you see in almost every art book printed. It was the illustrations of those dynamic poses we really needed to see to get the flavor. So I bought the book based on the great reviews. That more often than not is a good bet. In this case, it was a great bet! I'd have liked more dynamic poses and some 360s of them, but the book gives you a thorough instruction of the anatomy and how it works in more dynamic positions that it makes extrapolating much easier. GREAT BOOK!

The publishers did themselves no favors by not providing more helpful sample pages to see before purchase. What they show is stiff you see in almost every art book printed. It was the illustrations of those dynamic poses we really needed to see to get the flavor. So I bought the book based on the great reviews. That more often than not is a good bet. In this case, it was a great bet!
